Electric Céilí perform at The Gathering Launch  

Electric Céilí were delighted to be chosen by Failte Ireland to be the show case entertainment at the launch of The Gathering 2013. The event was hosted by Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport Leo Varadkar.

The Gathering is about asking anyone who has Irish blood, a link to Ireland, or even just a love of our country – to join us for a series of amazing and diverse events throughout 2013. The event was attended by over six hundred travel and tour operators from all over the world as well as distinguished guests such as Michael O' Leary (Ryanair), John McColgan (Riverdance producer) Shaun Quinn (CEO Failte Ireland) and many more.

Electric Céilí were joined on stage by the regular Electric Céilí dance troop headed up and choreographed by Damien Doherty of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance fame. Electric Céilí delivered one of their trade mark, high energy performances, and as usual was very well recieved by all those in attendance.
